Welcome

This is the documentation for the AntView 2.0 MS Edge ActiveX control.

AntView gives you an ActiveX interface for the Microsoft WebView2 control.

Most of the API has been designed to closely match to Microsoft's .net WebView2 interface.

The reason being that the WebView2 control is a Microsoft control and by making the API similar, it should be easier to find documentation and help online. It is not a 1:1 match, but we do try to stay close to the original WebView2 API.

The installation program registers the control on your behalf for both 32 bit as well as for 64 bit.

The API's for the 32 bit and 64 bit version are using the same interface, so you do not need to make changes if you import the control in your development environment.

After running the installation program you can import AntView 2.0 in your development environment and you will be supplied with the following interface.

The control itself:

AntView

Support interfaces:

AntViewDocument

AntViewGlobal
